Work Experience

Mr. Panahon has worked on major special projects, such as the Philippine leg of a worldwide restructuring of a company involved in the food and nutrition business. Other major projects in which he assisted include (i) the acquisition of a hydro-power plant project in Mindanao, (ii) the corporate restructuring of a domestic corporation involved in the business of manufacturing heavy equipment, (iii) the acquisition of shares in a Philippine conglomerate in the power industry, and (iv) the acquisition of shares of a mining firm.

As part of the firm's Human Resource Practice Group, Mr. Panahon has worked on a number of labor-litigation cases for various companies from different industries, including business process outsourcing, pharmaceutical, electronics, and maritime companies. These cases include those involving illegal dismissal, unfair labor practices, certification election, money claims, and overseas Filipino workers. He also conducts management trainings and seminars on labor laws and company policies.

Mr. Panahon has also worked on various litigation cases, which include mediation and conciliation, court litigation, and international and domestic arbitration.

He is also presently acting either as a Corporate Secretary or Assistant Corporate Secretary for various corporate clients from different industries.
