Ma. Luisa D. Manalaysay is an associate of SyCip Salazar Hernandez & Gatmaitan. She is a member of the firm’s Special Projects, Banking Finance and Securities, and Corporate Services practice groups. She joined the firm in January 2012.

Ms. Manalaysay specializes in insurance, aviation financing, foreign investments, and mergers and acquisitions. She also handles general corporate services, legal due diligence, and general contract drafting and review.

Ms. Manalaysay was part of legal due diligence teams in several high-value transactions, including acquisitions and other forms of investments. She assisted clients in investment structuring and establishing corporate vehicles, drafting and reviewing corporate agreements and providing advice on day-to-day corporate matters. She assisted in regulatory risk management and rendered transaction advice involving commercial lending, investments, mergers and acquisitions in the industries of, among others, power and real estate.

She has contributed legal articles to international publications such as Getting the Deal Through: Air Transport 2014 and 2015.
