UP Career Assistance Program’s Career Path Orientation

SyCipLaw Partner Carina C. Laforteza was the resource speaker for the legal industry at the Career Path Orientation (CAPtion) organized by the University of the Philippines Career Assistance Program (UP CAP). She provided an overview of the legal industry and tips for students interested in pursuing a law career.

CAPtion was held on October 27, 2014 at the UP School of Economics. The event is intended to introduce students to possible career paths that they may venture into after graduation such as various corporate tracks. Top companies expose the students to the different fields in the corporate world by participating as speakers. Other sectors represented include investment banking, entrepreneurship, government, NGO, academe, and market research.

UP CAP is a service organization whose goal is to provide assistance to graduating students in launching careers after college. The organization specifically assists students from the Virata School of Business (formerly known as College of Business Administration) and the School of Economics.
